Been offered a nearly new one of these for £100, 16GB WiFi version in black.

Good deal or should I knock them down a bit? Is it a decent enough model or would it be worth paying the extra for a Nexus?
 
Excellent, I got it for £75 in the end so I'm chuffed!

Will it get the latest version of Android if/when it becomes available? I've not had an Android device before so this is gonna be more a discovery thing than anything else.
 
The Tab 2 is getting Jellybean as far as I'm aware, it should already have ICS. Be prepared to wait for it though, Samsung take their time when it comes to updating their Tab range.

I'm not fussed by waiting, I'm just gonna play with it and see how it all works for a while as Android is totally new to me. By the time Jellybean comes along hopefully I'll know what I'm doing!

hehe yeah seems it's a bit of a bargain! It's my cousin's, she got it free when she and her fella bought a 55" all singing Samsung TV from John Lewis. She's never really used it and now has an iPad Mini so it was just gathering dust. She said £100, I said I'd think about it, she dropped to £75 - happy days :)
 
Currently available new from one place for £149 with £30 cashback bringing it down to £119.
