Hi all,

Wondered if anyone has had any decent gifts from suppliers over the years?

Looking for something 'new' that isn't like the usual corporate tat.

Budget £15

Can't be food, drink or tabacco items or vouchers to buy any of these things because of tax implications.

Thanks for your help! Serious replies considered :o

Box of chocolates? Sleeve of golf balls?

Where I work now we only do corporate tat - luggage tags, flash drives, USB 'don't panic' buttons... all branded, of course.

Had some pretty decent pens and high capacity usb sticks before. Hardly original and the USB sticks are done to death but I do use them all the time and therefore see the brands.

I once got a very nice quality bottle opener set from a client and that was a pretty good and well used gift.

Most random one I've had is a dressing gown with the company name embroidered on it.

15 quid and isn't like the usual corporate guff is a tough challenge. In fact, I'd say it's an impossible challenge. The memorable gifts are either unique or at least not common (expensive) or just downright expensive (expensive).

I think you'll have to go with common but memorable. A USB stick with a picture of a clothed lady on it until you move the stick into a vertical position and her clothes fall off.

Ha ha... thanks ;)

Yeah that's my job in general - make the impossible happen!

So far bottle opener seems like a good idea.... thanks for the replies :)
