Do you think you would lead people to become a morally righteous nation?

You have a lot of armchair critics out there, they blame the lefties and the righties from the safety of their own anonymous homes. I am guilty too.

So do you think you would do a better job, do you think you would lead a nation to righteousness. If you were made prime minister tomorrow do you think you would right all wrongs, cure all crime, make us all love one another. Create a perfect society.

I see Nick Clegg is scumming to Toryism(sic) and David Cameron is now covering up for sex abusers.

Nothing left to add. I would become corrupt very quickly.

I'll be a horrible PM since I have little sympathy for people with problems. My view (rightly or wrongly) has always been, if I can do it, you can do it. Shut up, stop moaning, grab your balls and get on with things.

Then, there's the shame issue. I have shame therefore I couldn't grovel for votes.

Actually I thought Cameron was doing the decent thing by not pandering to gay witch hunts.

Personally I would send all the immigrants back, then we could see if that argument held water or not :)
Except Poles, I like the Polish.

I'm sure my perception to righteousness would differ wildly to another persons perception.

Have we learned nothing from Demolition Man?

My blanket, general opinion.
We dont really live in a moral society. Those who tow the line do it through fear of getting totally shafted.

I would make the population take responsibility for themselves again as we live in a culture where the government has taken upon themselves to issue "guidelines" on how to live your life.

This has caused us to live in a society where we dont care about the consequences as some-one else will always be to blame.

Only once people take responsibility for themselves will they care about their actions and moral society will develop.

I hope that makes sense.

It'd be interesting to see how I'd do. I am fickle, judgemental, and I like to abuse power. I'm a good liar, and find it easy to manipulate in most situations. I'm such an attention who're that I take all attention in a positive way, so bad press would still be awesome. I also like hanging around in suit, speaking convincingly on subjects I have no knowledge of and making pop culture references during speeches.

It's pretty safe to say I'd turn in to Berlusconi pretty quickly.

If I was left to do what I wanted I think I would solve a lot of problems and annoy certain parts of society.
However PM and politicians can't do this. Democracy or at least the way we do it is, pretty much public opinion based and 4 year stumbling a from one term to another. Because of both of these I don't think it's possible to do what is actually needed.
