Cat attacks villagers.....isn't put down

actually no i've taken two situations that are the same.

Dog attacks person is poisoned

cat attacks person is poisoned

Your situation would be more abortion doctors and the morning after pill.

No you have not.

You have taken one sitaution whereby someone has taken it upon themselves to kill a cat due to the fact it has potentially annoyed them slightly (either via digging their garden, attacking them or whatever) and compared it the killing of an animal which has been ordered through the process of law.

Are you seriously suggesting they are the same?

If my cat attacked someone without provocation (unlikely) I'd boot it myself.

However, if someone else booted it due to anything else other than self-defence (lol, it's a cat!?) I'd give them a kicking.

Are you for serious? Not that you're ever going to get attacked by a cat, however, would you really need to kick it in the face? It's a cat! Or are you just saying this to put across some sort of hard persona?

* Dealt with *

And yes. Same as I would anything else that attacked me unprovoked.

Well, I just hope that you're big and bad enough to handle any repercussions of said attitude. Somehow, I get the impression you're not.

Personally, if a cat attacked me - I'd probably walk away. If I get jumped my two blokes in balaclavas, then the kick in the face might be needed.

Prey tell oh wise one, what repercussions of my big bad self-defensive attitude would there be? Also, can't stop laughing at the image of you running away scared from a cat.

Somebodys Rabbit scratched me, I'm wondering if I should have it destroyed. I'm scared to go near another Rabbit.

What should I do GD? I don't want to risk upsetting the Rabbits owner, but I'm having nightmares over this.

Should I call the police?

wait someone compared a cat scratching someone to a dog mauling someone and people are actually taking this serious?

i love ocuk :)

Look. Generally, if you apply said attitude in situations that do not warrant it, then sooner or later you're going to come up against someone who is bigger and badder then you are. When they happens, you could end up with more then a kick in the face.

Oh, and there is a difference between running away scared, and walking away. It's someone's pet - it's not for you to apply punishment.

Also, loving the owner's logic. To paraphrase :"He can't possibly be aggressive, he was in an Ikea advert as a kitten!"

...All said in a Maud Flanders style "Won't somebody think of the children!?" no doubt. :D

How will I come up against something bigger and badder than me while acting in self defense? Unless something bigger and badder than me attacks me of course, but then I'd still attempt to defend myself.

Just because it's somebody's pet doesn't give it an excuse to run around a village attacking people either. The owner should keep it indoors if it's aggressive.

If I walked up to you and punched you in the face unprovoked, you're telling me you'd just let me carry on?

You make no sense.

Don't bother trying. In the world of the OCUK forums, with instant access to wikipedia and dictionary.com any user can resolve any situation with fact checking and big words, including but not limited to attacks by cats, dogs, bears, sharks and other people. When that fails only then will they resort to swinging their keyboards.

It's the UK pal. Home of moaning hypochondriacs. Everyone runs to the doctors of every cough, nick or bumb. Pointless even laughing at how pathetic some people can be. Just nod and move on. They'll forever be convinced their injuries or illnesses deserve medical attention. It's how they were born.

To be fair cat bites can easily turn nasty, I guy I used to work with got septicemia after his cat bit him and looked like death for weeks after. So if a cat bites you smoother yourself in savlon.

I just get riled up by people that have small dogs. Do it properly or not at all!

alternatively i get riled up at people who have big dogs to make up for either lack of manhood or lack of courage.... often making them live in a tiny terrace with a tiny garden.

for the record i have a medium size dog... a decent size house and big garden.

not having a go but so many ******s have sheps and dont have a farm or big house for them to live in. i lived around the corner from one at my last house (my house was much bigger than his). his poor dogs. well, they were a nuisance actually attacking other dogs, the owner was a ****** too

yeah those 77 year old former lieutenant colonels are well known for their sissynes.

Your Dog wouldn't get put down if it merely snapped at someone you Daily Mail reading idiot.

Edit: A Cat cannot kill or seriously maim a human being, a lot of Dogs can, and have, killed Children. I love Animals and have owned Cats and Dogs including 2 German Shepherds, use some common sense.

After reading Tefal's posts in this thread, I've came to the conclusion that he's clearly suffered some sort of head trauma and should probably be wearing one of those padded helmets with a chin strap from now on.
