I didn't know garages were able to sell modified cars even if they had been put back, a guy told me at the local Mazda garage that they have to auction off cars and aren't allowed to sell them on the forecourt.
Garages can sell pretty much whatever they want so long as it's safe for purpose, AFAIK any modifications simply have to be made known to the buyer?
On a note of your engine management light, surely it would only come on if your lambda was left out of the loop? My blueflame decat is made so that a lambda can be fitted thus no engine management lights on and no need for it to run extra rich at low rpm due to no lambda.
I don't know how it works on other cars but on the Fiesta ST there are two sensors, one in the manifold and one in the cat/decat and they measure the different readings between the first and second sensor to tell whether the cat is working or not, obviously on a decatted system such as mine the two readings are exactly the same so the ECU flags up that something's wrong.
Rolling road it to get a power figure?
There is an OcUK rolling road day in a few weeks.
It's too far away for me
