Hi all,
I recently purchased a PC from Ocuk this monday, 5 days later and everything I need has arrived in order for me to start building.

just wanted to ask a quick question about the z77-d3h
will this list of drivers be alright to install in this order?

Bios Update (via Qflash)
Win 7
Intel ME
Intel INF
Intel RST
USB drivers for any additional chipsets (which tho? only 3.0 @ manufactures website)
ATI Catalyst
Sound driver (Should this be the 'VIA audio driver' or from Realtek)

It shouldn't matter which order you install the drivers in.
Thanks for the Input Antowns, appreciated.

The driver order is cool,

You want VIA drivers as its a VIA VT2021 sound chip.

This should be the latest for Win7 64bit - http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp

Thanks Stulid, the only usb drivers on the ga-z77-d3h website are 3.0 which are the Etron Driver and the Intel Driver, do i need one of these or will the peripherals be able to be used without them installed or?

Doesn't windows update grab most of them drivers now? I mean sure if it didnt find them but i dont think ive manually installed them for a while \:

just a question, just checked my optical drive from OcUK, and it hasent come with any wires or disk, will I be missing any wires, same with my HDD too no wires with it, both just came in bubble wrap.

its an OEM bare drives, you dont need anything. use the sata cables from the motherboard, and plug in from the psu.

just a hint the cables only go one way round, so dont force them in

Dependent on the revision of your MB you would do really well to have the latest bios on a memory stick to update soon as.

thats what I was thinking, i'd still be able to boot into bios and use my mouse won't I, even if updating BIOS is the firs thing I do?

PS. will I need some sort of driver for the OcUK optical drive?, diden't come with a disk :o.

I had to shoehorn windows on and do it through that which was risky, but in answer to your question yes you should be able to use your mouse to navigate your way through the bios screen.
