Overclockers.co.uk Grand opening 10/11/12 outside

I didn't realise they would let gingers in :eek:

I was awake at 4, thought about popping over but went back to sleep instead,
good luck to anyone who wanted to turn up at 6
 
well we not talking like thousands of people there so clearly the offers were of extremely limited amounts and when standing around for a hour in a grubby ex factory carpark to be told that what you came for has already gone before the store even opened does suck. some people had drove large distances to be there and never stood a chance. im all for first come first served but organized a bit better so you werent hanging around in the cold for noting.

a nice que with people mad enough to get there at 6am still waiting and been told there and then if you dident have a ticket you couldent get a deal would have avoided and frustration.

also the video was posted to let people know that did think of going throgh the day to save themselves a trip.

its just a shop at the end of the day and i been going for years and still will go but as i stated earler i dont do 8am well ;)
 
Disappointed to have missed out, but I will just buy a lesser card with free games instead. :)

But surely thats EXACTLY what happened?
They just let people into the store so they weren't all hanging around int he cold crap weather?

So by letting those people stand outside in the cold rather than letting them into the warmer store all of your anger would've been sedated?
 
Oh well I imagine OcUK will provide some good deals to be taken advantage of throughout the year through which we wont have to wait around for.

no this isent what happened i turned up at 8am to see ruffly that amount of people all been told to wait outside there was no que the store wasent open till 9am and that was fixed just some were privileged to be allowed in for unknown reasons thats the annoyance.

Fact is some of the crazy deals are still available, I still think we have a couple of the £99 PC's left and a handful of the Intel SSD's and we had plenty of great online deals for customers this weekend too which can also be purchased in store. :)

We've done our best and everything was done very fairly.

meh only answering peoples input. i couldent care less anymore but if you want to tell my mother that who had drive me couse im still banned feel free duck

The moral of that statement is don't get banned from driving and then you wouldn't waste your poor mothers time and petrol.......

You should explain it to your mother as you're the one who caused her any inconvenience as you got yourself banned from driving.

just to explane the item was for her, she just a non tecy and dont feel right in places like that, sure you all got fam members that ask you for tec advice
