Anyone who has got this phone, could you test wireless internet sharing with your laptop and tell me if it works? Its BSODing my laptop :(

Im curious what made you guys decide to order from phones4u despite the fact we had no indication it would arrive today.

Incidently Nokia are only a day behind the original 920 release date of 9th November. that was the date that was given at the Windows Phone launch.

Des anyone know if the Wallet app allows you to add a debit or credit card in the uk for NFC payments?

You can add cards, gift cards and paypal to the wallet for buying things on the phone but for NFC payments you need to have an app from your bank for it to work.

I was getting so impatient for the lumia 920, that i bought the htc 8x last week. It was ok for the first few days, anyway, it was clearly missing something.

So this morning i bought the lumia 920, oh my god! All i can say is it is without a doubt the best phone I've ever owned and used. Nokia music is exceptional, and its free, the camera and video is incredible, and will get better after the next update. Such a sweet phone!

P.s this phone trumps the htc 8x camera

I'm tempted to go buy one outright except I don't have an orange/mobile/ee contract, which is why I signed up for a new contract so right now I would have a handset I can't use... mmm not sure about that.

Been playing with the phone for the last couple of hours. I am incredibly impressed with Windows Phone 8, it is extremely polished, I would go as far to say more polished than iOS.

I ended up getting on from EE on T-Mobile. It came with a free wireless charging mat which is great. I am paying £36.00 / month and the phone cost was £49.99.

I have tested my 3G speed and I am getting 10mb/sec down. Thats not far off 4G and I get unlimited data...

My advice would be to do the same :)

Is Nokia music free forever?

Can it be used on a PC?

Yeah it's completely free, though you can only skip a certain amount of tracks in an hour and then you have to wait a few hours before you can skip tracks again. Something like that any way can't remember full time limits.

Nope it can't. It is brilliant though.

If I want to replace spotify, would Xbox music be a better choice?

Its only £80/year and you can download as much music to your phone / computer you like?

Feel like I got trolled by phones4u this morning.

Went into the Sheffield branch who had stock so I went for a white one, I sat down with the sales person, offered me white 920 free on tmobile full monty at £36pm + £30 cashback to end my current contract.

At this point I was happy with what we agreed.

Turns out at the end they couldnt offer the 920 on said tariff and that I could have it on the one below at £31pm but £250 for the hamdset.

All this after sitting there for an hour with two calls to tmobile one about my buy out price and the other being i was not recognised as a current tmobile customer. I am so annoyed at the mo.
