Ive picked up my 920 today in store at EE

I only went in today to find out info about upgrading it and left with it in hand.

I am on orange and got it on a 4G tarrif, £36 a month, unlimited minutes,calls and 2gb of internet, plus unlimited free skysports package that doesnt use up any of your monthly data which is awesome!

Got a free wireless charger too, but its in white and I have a black phone so if anyone wants to do a swap for a black one contact me!

Did you really get a 2GB allowance on EE at £36? How much for the handset? 24 months or 12?

Soccer Livescores (Good content, shame about the rubbish filtering)

So I'm looking at a sim-only plan for when my phone gets here. I'm looking at the various sites (Orange, T-Mobile, Virgin) but they don't make it easy.

Can anyone help me out? It needs to be a monthly plan, with 500MB or 1GB data and tethering has to be allowed. Which one should I be looking at?

Not from Phones4U. No bootscreens or anything. I'm sure someone else can answer if the same is true of EE.

The box says "Phones4U" on the label with all the IMEI details on it. That's it.

It's clearly with orange as EE are not flexible at all.

I have been working for Intel today in an EE store and played with a white 920 all day.

I actually would prefer black or any matte colours as the shiny finish was
very very slippery in the hand. The phone is fantastic.

They have wireless chargers in store and you get to take one away at the same time.

I was going to screw my online deal - they told me I wouldn't get the phone until the 19th at the earliest which I didn't believe but didn't think it was worth arguing about - and I was going to take one in store but the only model was on Orange.

Orange phones won't work with EE apparently, only T-Mobile so I left empty handed. No branding on the T-mobile version.

Slightly miffed that one feature I looked forward to only works with SD cards. The drag n drop of media support.

This whole thing is so frustrating, all i want to do is buy the phone outright and stick with my GiffGaff sim Someone needs to find an unlock fast!

You don't have to, it just means I will have German branded applications / German default settings etc...
