I ordered a yellow one from them on the 3rd.

they e-mailed me and told me the ETA.

getting a sim free so I can use my current sim or be able to drop a foreign sim when I am abroad is important to me.

Patience is key, I hope come 15th, they start honoring those who placed the orders last week...

Thanks :D

Let the fun begin

let me know how you get on
edit

turning the phone off and selecting no connection and trying to flash as if it was a bricked phone gave me my first meaningful error message

Invalid response from device, incorrect message id

I don't think it is USB drivers any more as I can put the phone into test mode with the program so know communication is OK for that..

off to google

Do you have the UK firmware? including cert file?

I have RM821_1232.2110.1244.3003_RETAIL_eu_euro1_276_03_100861_prd_signed and accompanying files...

Been playing about in test mode, now reading up about the 800 de-branding stuff.

[RXP]Andy, how much does it cost to fill an RXP now? I sold my GP1200R about 5 years ago and that was £70 ish.

Browsing ebay whilst hungover, finally found a not too bad case.

Obviously bought the black one.

Don't like the sound of this

I have reflashed my firmware from Orange 11451 to Unbranded 11501, using the steps detailed below. I have tried to be as non-technical as possible, but please be careful, ESPECIALLY during the flashing process - I don't want you to brick your phone.

* THIS WILL NOT REMOVE THE SIM LOCK / NETWORK LOCK FROM YOUR DEVICE * A sim-locked phone will still be locked to the operator after debranding *

**** This was some debranding there Orange Lumia 800****

Damn looks like I might have to wait for my order to come through for cyberport :(

I need the phone unlocked, need to see if any gets any news with these unlocking sites I gusse

Then again saying that maybe the 920 is different to the 800 in the way you flash it. If you look on Navifirm in the 920 firmware(s) you can see a sim lock file. On the 800 you don't. Maybe the way a sim is locked, is different now, hopefully

Edit: Might even be the case of renaming the unlocked sim file to the same name as the locked ee simfile
