Does the serrated edge ever cut the cling film?

Cling film is my mortal enemy. There is a brand that has a sort of clip thing that does it incredibly well, so I bought one of those and just refill the container with the cheap stuff.

Get one of those plastic things, you put the cling film in it, when you need some, pull out what you need and shut the lid down where you want to cut it, it does the job for you. I thought everyone did this?

Don't get a cardboard box of it them, get the sturdy plastic one and don't forget to double tap to ensure a clean cut.

Sounds like the name of a book solely for the toilet.

I find the serrated edge is much better at slicing into my fingers if I'm careless than it ever is at cutting the clingfilm but since I rarely use clingfilm it's not much of a problem for me.

for cling film do as the Pro's do, open up desired length, put on table, run knife across it lightly and tear.

Why does cling film stick to everything except the container you want sealed?
It also has a habit of sticking to itself whenever you try to cut it, but when you wrap up your sandwich etc. it some how looses its ability to stick to itself.

WTF, I swear cling film is some kind of psychological test designed by a sadistic God.

Tin foil is also rather obtuse, it will happily tear every which way except where you try to cut it with the box.
