I'm new to PC gaming, I'm not a huge gamer anyway, maybe a couple of hours a week if I get time but seeing as I've given the PC a bit of a revamp and I've got a GTX460 on the way I thought I'd get a couple of games... Hitman is pre-ordered, I've made a steam account and today I bought Command + Conquer 4 from Game as I remember playing the first ones as a kid! well after 2 hours it still doesn't work and it's in the bin... I've never had this on the XBox!

I'm just installing crysis now (the other half of my 2 for £15 buy) hoping for some redemption!

That is all...
 
You might want to wait until your graphics card arrives before deciding they don't work. Just a thought.
 
The new Command & Conquer games are nothing on the old ones I'm afraid but they should at least work.

Is this in Win 8 as I know a few things need to be run as admin to work properly
 
The 4350 is pretty bad even compared to my old 8800GT and that struggles with anything released in the last few years.

Wait till your new gfx card arrives then see what it is like.
 
Last christmas I bought a PS3 and GT5 which required at least 3 hours of system and game updates before I could even play the game. Consoles have lost their convenience factor :(

It's pretty bad even compared to the 7900 recommended for that game :p
 
why do people still pretend pc gaming is difficult or challenging. It hasnt been since windows 98 came along.
