is it illegal to redirect trolls and other lowlifes' IPs to distasteful websites

Seems pointless and childish :)

' Beaten and +1 '

http_redirect fine.

dns poisoning semi-fine

forwarding directly no no.....

Why are you even doing this - grow up kid, put this behind you and drop all this nonsense and stop filtering requests.

If you've got something that is that easy to copy then I would suggest you look at diversifying into something different

JB the Iphone and you can record all you want :)

Also download the app called iblacklist and you can block phone calls
it can be done including withheld numbers :)

im on ios4 still which probably locks me out. What app is used for recording? LOL maybe I'll use iblacklist to automatically play the meatspin audio. LOL

OP - try to remain calm "a barking dog seldom bites" just watch your back and be a bit vigilant than usual. The situation will hopefully die down - but do ring the police and raise it for sure.

Also get the calls recorded and ensure they threaten you on the phone, whilst you record it.

Is the website "Meatspin" illegal? No.Why would redirecting traffic to it then be illegal? What law is it exactly you think you are breaking? Think about it a little bit...

someone mentioned data protection, but i have their IPs from my stat counter which I can tell because the IP location is roughly the geographic area they are based on and they visit my website 10 times a day on some days. I only blacklisted one IP and it clearly was the "right" one.

very simplistic approach. just because the website stands doesn't mean it's not illegal. E.g. porn sites have a 18+ disclaimer notice which you have to agree before entering. The meatpsin doesn't and it actively prevents you from browsing out.

And this has what to do with storing personal data?

Oh I think i understand now.
So when they come to your website, you forward them on to a picture of a sexual nature.
As long as that site or pictures upon it are not classified as obscene then I doubt you are doing anything wrong.
Might be idiotic, but not wrong, as long as you are certain the website hosts nothing illegal in pictorial content. Might be worth checking the obscene images act.

I would still be very very surprised if any police officer, judge or law official took any interest in pursuing a matter like this. By the sounds of it they would give you all pacifiers and put you back in your booster seats.

You have copyright of your website. Just get a solicitor and threaten him with court. Don't mess around with stupid pranks which won't solve the problem.
