Recommend me a good silver team and a good bronze team, so I can win the cups.

Thanks :)

EDIT: Just bought a Witsel (with bids) in CAM fir 400. Since I need him in a CDM, I didn't bother buying position cards, as it would end up too much, so I sent him on the market for a 400 bid and a 900 buy now.

5 minutes after buying for 400, I sell for 900.

Not bad :D

Witsel is great! Serie A, also has an awesome Belgian CM, his name escapes me right now, 79 rated, but every league seems to have some type of godly hidden gem Belgian midfielder :D

Am on a rage, had just over 100k and 'someone' bought a stupid bronze crappy goalkeeper bin at a stupid price of 100k. I needs me coins ffs

Haha what did you do that for? Or rather, how did that happen?

I just blew all my coins on packs. Got nothing that valuable except Nani.

Luckily I have Robben as my nest egg in case I need to raise coins desperately :o

Few people were round and had a bit of a shindig, were a few friends of friends and no one seen who did it. Prob been someone buying their own player ffs

Anyone who denies the existence of scripting/handicapping is either a fanboy or they haven't played enough FIFA to make a judgement. -.-

I think 'scripting' is the wrong term, has the wrong connotations. It almost feels like 'form' in games, when your team is 'off' and theirs is 'on' you get horrible feeling games. Plus the weird sort of momentum / rubber-banding you feel that change in games. I dunno.

Indeed. It seems to be a mixture of phenomena which affect the game.

a) Players feeling sluggish, slow, or unresponsive. This can happen from the start of a match, at a random point in the match or after an event (i.e. goal from either side). I can understand the idea behind it - when you concede a goal, it can dump a team's spirits/morale. However, it significantly affects your ability to play. The game should be about the person's ability, combined with the players themselves, morale/spirit should be reflected in how you play after conceding, not on a dice roll to see if the players decide to go emo. That said, it happens at random times, so it doesn't even fit in with what you might expect of a 'real' football match.

b) One team scoring at will, while the other constantly hits the post/misses/saved. I respect the fact that one team can take their chances better than the opponent, but sometimes it's just so imbalanced that it becomes ridiculous. Goals that would 9/10 go in, will hit the post, go wide or the keeper becomes an acrobatic madman saving shots that would normally have them subject to medical testing as a result of these superhuman reflexes. Or instead, they can just shoot and score whenever they feel like. It's just not conducive to a proper, enjoyable game of FIFA.

c) Players inexplicably doing retarded things. I can't tell you how many times I've had a player of mine make bizarre runs, or peel off attackers at ridiculous times. Or fall over, suddenly having the strength of soggy bread, or slow down to ridiculous speeds. I position a player perfectly to receive a cross only for them to either run the other way, not even attempt to get the ball, or stop me from getting into position in the first place.

d) Rubbish player switching. Why does it insist on cycling through players not even near the ball, while I have a defender running alongside an attacker who I need to be controlling to intercept a cross? Madness.

e) Passing. No, don't pass to the person in space, unmarked on goal, pass to the person at the back post surrounded by defenders - oh and make sure the ball is passed slowly across the ground so that the defenders or goalkeeper can pick it up. Or hey, we're on the break, free players either side, no, pass backwards instead. trololol

I lost 5-2 in the cup final, why? I was 2-0 at half-time, he was fairly average, but scored a couple of goals while I was being a bit sloppy. Second half, I picked up my game, scored two back. Then it's fairly tight until the 80th minute, and he scores 3 in the space of 5 minutes, ridiculous goals, bizarre volleys and my defenders are nowhere to be found. My players can't pass, they don't make runs, everything just goes wrong. It's a sudden change, not a gradual shift in play due to superior play, it's a sudden change from playing average to playing godlike.

And yet they fob people off with "there's no handicap" or whatever. Pfft, okay. It's not like EA have ever lied before.

been tempted try 451 but not got round to it!! still using 352

It's worked well for me so far, flooding the midfield stops pretty much any attacking formations, I tear any formation with 3 at the back apart unless someone really knows how to handle 3 at the back. Ran into trouble against some guy with a ridiculous 5-3-1-1 formation but he played that defensively he got a nosebleed if he crossed into my half and couldn't hit a barn door.

I want to try out 4-3-3 with a false 9 (cf) la liga or serie a would work well with it IMO. Been testing it out with barca in seasons, Messi is unreal as false 9.

Oh and I'm with Gackt, I only seem to concede ridiculous goals that I can't do anything about. Some guy scored a 35 yard half volley with maxwell's weak foot, hammered it into the top corner de gea had no chance. There's so many people playing 4-4-1-1 with either soldado or podolski up front, chip through ball over the top, no first touch necessary just spank it in, doesn't matter how far out or how odd the angle itl fly in like your keeper isn't there
