Pretty normal, one of our dogs never stopped doing it, and now it eats the other dog's **** as well. Chili powder quickly sprinkled on it's logs will make it stop sharpish, but obviously give it a few months first

If I did that it'd only encourage the dog to eat the poo, she *loves* chilli and hot food for some reason.

Fortunately she isn't one for chowing down on her own waste.

My two seem to have a strange habbit of when one squats to have a pee the other tries to lap it up mid stream. It's disgusting and makes their faces smell of pee.

Often have to restrain one whilst the other goes - they're 4 and 5 years old, doubt they'll grow out of it now

Donna's dog does this if you don't stop him, he's 3 Hungarian Vizla - got to stop every time he tries it. I've always thought all dog's did this anyway ?

Firstly Don't hit the dog Especially on the nose.

Secondly what food are you giving him as a lot of dog food is that strong that pups will eat there mess. If you are using a tinned meat dog food then switch him to dry.
