Thank you for the speedy delivery OcUK. Also thank you for the packet of Haribos, sadly I cannot eat them as my religion forbids, since they contain gelatine. Is there any chance you could possibly stock Halal jelly sweets in the future for the Islamic customers?

I would have mentioned this in the notes when ordering however I forgot to do so.

Pork is haram. Therefore gelatin from pork is also haram, although some 'scholary people' say it's went through some sort of chemical change therefore halal, it's a bit of a minefield.

With all due respect... what about customers who don't want to eat Halal? In order to make everyone happy, OcUK would have to stock two or more types of sweets. Are OcUK supposed to ask what religion you are before you checkout so they know what sweets to put in the box?

I'd have thought OcUKers would have a little more class with this type of thread, rather than just posting mocking GIFs.

Sure, it's a bit unusual, and indeed he may be trolling but essentially it's a perfectly reasonable request.

It's no more a reasonable request than me asking if they'd give out M&Ms for free instead as I don't like Haribo.
