Haven't posted in here for a while but I am a regular lurker.
Picked up my new (to me) car a month ago or so.

I am afraid it is a

Presence, exclusivity and the V8 soundtrack.
Im doing my bit to help the trees grow with all the CO2 I am generating :)
 
I was pleasantly surprised. Thought it was going to be some boring Diesel Astra after the first pic.

I have the other car for mpgzz, well actually maybe not. I only get 27 mpg out of the Leon 1.8T. So far 18 mpg in the VXR8. Worth it though for the noise and instant throttle response.

Car is a bit dirty in these pics. Wheels are actually piano black and very shiny when clean. Looks like its going need a clean every other week at the current rate of dirtying

Love it. Had one of these in Australia - Absolutely brilliant.

Not clued up on the UK ones - does this have the LS2 or LS3 engine?

Mine is the LS3 but you can get VXR8 with either.

Havent made a sound clip video yet but will do soon
