Interesting is in this review and bf3 the 7970 ghz is yet again around 14% faster. Just coincidence or maybe the gap is this big to a stock gtx680.

Keep on ignoring those discrepancies. If you had any of the cards in question you'd be welcome to post a stock benchmark in the benchmark thread. As you don't I'm not sure why you're that bothered and arguing for reviews which could have well taken a backhander to massage the results slightly to make them more... Juicy.

Honestly you should see some of the comments on high resolution saying that Nvidia are faster at this resolution buy this 670 over a 7970 etc etc.

It works both ways but it's still enough to make me read over them with glazed eyes ha ha.

You could be right Rusty but 2 separate reviews showing the same % makes things a little more interesting to me as one site could be well off but 2 makes it more likely. If its back hander's its back handers but i remember in the review thread the stock gtx680 results was very low, way lower than you would have thought comparing to Gregs result.

I just have an interest in gpu's is all. I would have one if i gamed enough but i don't. My pc was last used for gaming around a month ago. When i played competitive fps i had top end hardware but it would be a waste of money for me.

Theres no need for that mate, we already know the 7970 hands the 680 its ass clock for clock. Check this users results with both cards at 1300/1750 at low res on latest drivers
