Went to see the Killers tonight for the first time.... For them to walk off after 4 songs

To be fair I'm not angry or anything, his voice sounded croaky as hell when talking but the (few) songs were still good... They've already said they will be rescheduling them, hope it's soon!

Saw this in the paper today.

Full refunds to everyone or new tickets for tonight it says.

Hope you get your refund, absolutely gutted.

That sucks, went to their 3rd night in the tour I believe and it was incredible. Hope you manage to make it to the rescheduled date!

What's the point in tickets for tonight? It's cancelled.

Know lots of people going and all have been notified of the possible cancellation.

Yeah, they played Mr Brightside (the 'look on the Mr Brightside' jokes have gotten so old lol) the way it was, smile like you mean it, and spaceman.

After spaceman he said his throat was going but said he will drink some chinese remedy and crack on. Half way through Bling and he stopped the song early.

I was in a corporate box through work so I wasn't sure what was going to happen, turns out we will get to go the rescheduled show so it's all good, will be some time next year though!

What a lame excuse. I've done gigs with vocalists who've all but totally lost their voice down to whispering in conversation, but will give it their all to make it through a gig. In one extreme case, I recall jigging the set around to fit in an instrumental and a song the backing singer could take the lead on to give the lead singe a break before taking her turn again.

What ever happened to "the show must go on"?

bit harsh to say he should risk his career to finish a gig badly when it can be rescheduled and everyone enjoy him at his best with no risk of him ruining his voice for good.

I went to a gig once where the lead singer didn't even turn up. The band just got audience members up on stage to sing the songs, was all good fun.

Wow...never been to a concert that wasnt amazing, guess that's the difference between metal and the crap you listen to :p

Just joking... :o
