also got an email from cyberport saying they expect to have it on the 15th...(Ordered yellow)

The P4U site says the White 920 is locked to EE, which means this includes T-Mobile and Orange SIMS right?

Cool, that's the same one I'm now running. Just a shame it's still locked afterward. Ahh well, someone will figure it out sooner or later.

Looks like I wount be getting mine from
Clove till tomorrow. Rang up and yet said I should have it before 1pm tomorrow afternoon.

Oh the wait :-(

I have had my 920 nearly a week now...
I'm not massively impressed with it...

There are a number of annoyances...No notification centre...Poor picture quality under daylight conditions...Wi fi keeps dis connecting...gmail implementation quite poor...smallest font size is still too big...Poor music player...

Not sure if i will keep it or not...and it is BIG...

Bibbleq a few pages back in your guide, you mention about line 12
Edit line 12 (<ProductCode>059R075</ProductCode>) with the code for the EE firmware (059R1W4) so the line reads: "<ProductCode>059R1W4</ProductCode>"

Is this really necessary? Does it error with out? Also do you know if anybody has tried to change the name of the
NWP8_simlock_3gstandard_bb5_crcA59A
file to the same as the EE file name?

Don't mean to cast any doubts about the battery life, but this morning my phone has been unplugged for 3 hours and has dropped to 51%. I've been using it quite heavily, but not that much. I did try out the Nokia drive this morning briefly, not sure if it was running in the background or if there's some bug causing battery drain. Bit worrying.

What phone did you have before it?
Is it really the bad?

PS. There is a fix on the way for the wifi issue.

Horses for courses, I hate Android and iOS is dull.

It's a new phone and it's common for new stuff to have patches. WIFI is always a problem since different vendors don't always follow the rules and some people are still using Draft N implementations.

If you don't like it there will be many who will, sell it.

Mine just says "Carrier: EE", nothing else.

As nikh23 mentioned, the battery life is pretty poor. I have cycled mine several times now, but no real massive improvement.
I'm not saying it's a terrible phone...But it's not the last word in smartphone technology.
My last phone was a note 2. But i also have an iphone 4 too...
But before i get slated, i'm no fanboy...I appreciate good solid tech, no matter the vendor...
I'm kind of still on the fence...

Reviews about the product have been very variable when it comes to battery life. Some said it was okay, average or poor but others said it was fine and better than Android. The 920 is certainly better than the 8x for battery life.

I'm not seeing the same problems. But then I'm not using 4G and LTE is new and more demanding on battery than 3G. The CPU works harder as it is receiving 5 times as much data.
