Mass Effect 4 to use Frostbite 2

I'm guessing it will be Anderson's story and how he joined the Spectres before Sheperd.

Perosnally I probably won't play it. I've not bought ME3 and won't until they release a GOTY type edition with all the DLC bundled in with the game. No chance on earth I'm paying for day 1 DLC that is needed to complete the game fully.

Unfortunately this is coming from a massive fan of 1 & 2, the ME universe as a whole and someone who considers ME1 my favorite game of all time.

lol, no thanks. BioWare are dead to me after DA2 & ME3 (didn't buy either).

I love people like you.

Not even played the games but are so quick to dismiss them.

GR8 THINKING BATMAN.

ME3 is a fantastic game. Ending was a bit weak, but the game as a whole is probably the 2nd best in the series for me.

Quite.

Anyway, sometimes you simply have to say no to massive publishing fascists and move on, I did and I am now publishing fascist free.

:D

Aside from the ending, I loved all three ME games.

The universe Bioware has created is fantastic. They could set many more games in it without it feeling milked, if done right (like the DnD universe). But I am sure EA will foul it up.

Hanar main character please! And give us racist jokes! "So a Drell, a Volus and an Elcor walk into a bar..."

What were your favourite missions/locations across the series?

I loved:

ME1
Feros: The Thorian
The whole final battle

ME2
Mordin: Old Blood
Legion: A House Divided
Overlord: Prometheus Station
Investigate Collector Ship
Lair of the Shadowbroker

ME3
Priority: Palaven
Priority: Tuchanka
Priority: Thessia

I don't really have a favourite, it was, aside from the odd exception, all good.

Mordin curing the genophage was very well done.
"Had to be me. Somone else might have gotten it wrong"

Mordin is the best character in the whole thing imo.

Wrong. That would be Tali :p
Both Tali and Mordin are my favourite characters.

Obviously we pretty much see Tali come from awkward teen (assumption, we don't know the Quarian life cycle) into a very capable young woman. She has her own story and a fully written personality, the best (in my opinion) romance. ... And that accent! ;)

Mordin is also very well written. Aside from being the very model of a scientist Salarian, he has that whole ethical greater good thing going on. He is also by far the funniest.

I'm looking forward to a new Mass Effect I haven't found any of the games terrible and for anyone saying the ME3 is terrible, why is that? Just because it didn't close the trilogy all that well or because of gameplay or what? I'm generally interested.

I'm guessing this is due for next gen as well and depending on what budget they get there could be some really cool animation/facial animation tech chucked in to make the game ooze even more atmosphere than before!

I would also like to know why all the hate for Episode 3. I loved it, loved the whole trilogy. I also liked the ending (it's not always rosy in the garden).
I suppose it wasn't as RPG as the first game, but the urgency of the situation kind of lent itself better to the shooter elements (just my opinion).

She was very well written, but by ME3 she started to annoy me. And I romanced Miranda as a tribute to Chuck ;)

The ending, as initially shipped, was a complete mess and a totally unfitting way to end the series, with a pathetic Ex Machina in the form of the Star Child. An absolute, total and utter smack in the face to what had become one of the greatest sci-fi storylines in gaming history.

The rest of the game? Fantastic. Some of the changes took a bit of getting used to (eg. the overheard conversations giving missions... what???), but once you got into the flow of the gameplay, it offered some amazing character moments and jaw-dropping set pieces that put it almost on par with ME2 as I approached the final act.

If the ending hadn't been as horrendous as it was, I honestly don't think many people would have been nitpicking at the smaller missed opportunities throughout. Which is a shame.

I quite like ME3. I like how it started and the big massive Walker things and how the action panned out at the beginning of the game.

Of the 3 ME3 was the best for me. didnt like one much and two was ok.

"Demo" - to try out or exhibit the use of (a product, process, or the like): You can demo the game without downloading or buying it.

I tried the demo for DA2. It was terrible. I could see long before it was released with all the teaser information that it was going to suck but I gave it a try and was not disappointed. I'm not wasting my money buying it to 'prove' to people like you that it was crap.

ME2 was a big change from ME1, some in good ways some in bad ways, but you could already see how there claims of 'your choices carrying over from ME1' was complete ******** and I really wasn't convinced (particularly after DA2) that they could actually do there own storyline justice. Especially after the last DLC they released for ME2 that railroaded you complete into doing what they wanted you to do just to help set up ME3.

Say what you want about ME3 but don't try and deny that they didn't hold up there promise that your decisions would actually matter. Bioware aren't the same company that made ME and DA:O.
