FIFA 13 FPS Drops

Do any of you guys get FPS drops on Corners and Goal kicks on this game? When playing on the pitch its a solid 60fps. I have posted on FIFA 13 forums and I get zero answer so hoping some of you guys can help.

In-game settings are maxed out with 2xAA Tried messing with Locking FPS to 60 and vsync and also not locking with vsync makes no difference.

Was a solid 60 fps for myself no matter where on the demo. Which I thought was great as that's usually where it lags a tonne on Xbox.

Anyone else? this doing my head in stuttering 45fps is it just a pure console port maybe.

Dont you have to turn on or off anisotropic filtering or something ? think there was a similar thread on here and turning that on or off fixes it

Thanks I have that set to App controlled. If I turn that off then I get theses horrible lines down the pitch

Fifa replays are stuttering as ****, looks like 30FPS probably just Fifa being Fifa and being made by Ea

Replys all run fine for me, Like I said its just goal kicks and corners when looking at a lot of Players on screen or sometimes I think it could be the stadiums making it happen. Because its not every Corner or goal kick it happens on. lol

There was something on the news about Fifa 13 on the PS3 having some issues a little while ago, EA admits problems with the game.

Can't remember what it was.

Its strange I just had one match then where not a single Frame drop. Do you think it could be down to connection game Lag?

My 7970 eats this game for breakfast. At the highest in game settings 4xaa etc i get, wait for it, 0% usage on my gpu.

I'd suggest something is wrong if your 7950 can't run it smoothly at stock, yet alone when overclocked.

The game runs fine mate, its just corners and Goal kicks that make my FPS drop can you confirm no drops on these?

My usage is very low also never passes %50 not like your's tho lol

Are you using any custom settings in CCC like AA? If so put them down a notch. I get a similar problem when trying to use 24x Edge Detect.

All stock settings mate. I have a strong feeling its Lag making it drop frames, but why only on Corners and goal kicks :confused:

No idea then mate.

Fps drop surely feels different to lag though?

When the frames drop its abit stuttery, then soon has I kick the ball its back up to solid 60. Its very strange had it happen since game was released. Was hoping a driver or patch might of fixed it.
But not have you saying yours is working great so it might be something on my system Dont think its my connection I get 105MB and 10MB up with ping 10ms on speedtest.net

It's absolutely random and temperamental, happens to me in all game modes. It might not happen for a day and then it could happen for 3 days, pure chance.

Same areas as you though, corners mainly, sometimes they're like a slide show.

Bizarre, never seen this issue myself.

Fifa is probably the least taxing game on my pc.

Yes it is very random. I dont think its a driver issue but more a Fifa issue with some hardware configs maybe.

Same problem here, was running fine under Windows 7, since windows 8 getting stuttering, not sure if it's something to do with the game profile they have added in the new drivers or not.

This not just a windows 8 issue for me. I have had this since game came out when I was on Windows 7. I just thought drivers issue or needs patching but couple patches later its still the same.
