Tablet PC, Phone

ok i know very very little about Tablet PC's , so im looking into getting one for my wife ...I'm thinking Android , about 7" ...not too much money though maybe about £150 or so , and also can they be used as a Phone too please ?

Nexus 7 16gb is around that price, can't be used as a phone though.

Not sure that's going to happen I can't think of any full tablets off the top of my head that allow it to be used like a mobile phone.
The closest you'll get is something like the samsung note or note II which is 5.5" I think.

I can't see how using a 7" tablet as a phone would be feasible. Yes you can do it with the Galaxy 7 but why would you want to?

for probably the same reason I want to go down that route... I hardly make any calls at all and 99% of what I do on my Galaxy note is sat nav internet browsing and emailing
and dont want to carry two devices round with me so a 7" device is a far better option for some people

add to that my eyes are not very good any more so a bigger screen will be a real help for people with eyesight problems

so I dont see it as a problem at all

Well as I said , It's for my wife , however I did neglect to say that she herself does have a sight issue.
