Hi Guys

Live today, we have a superb new range of networking equipment from Tenda

stock is looking set to land very soon [hopefully by then close of business tomorrow]

This range is looking set to expand over the next few months to include powerline, range extenders etc.

We have been slowly eliminating older 'OcUK Value' brand products and until now there hasn't been a single budget networking brand that has impressed me.

The Tenda range will be starting small at OcUK.

If you are in the market for an upgrade or replacement networking related product, take a look at the range. Remember, we have a 14 day, no questions asked money back guarantee.

For affordable, reliable networking solutions, we believe that we have found a winner.

possibly in the future, as i say in the OP, its a new range and we have every intention of expanding it.

Are these any good? Never heard of them but the name sounds like a cheap Chinese brand.

yes. i wouldn't list them otherwise.

out of all the budget orientated networking brands i have looked at to replace 'OcUK Value' this is the best.

Ive got the ocuk value range of powerline kit and have been solid for me for over a year now.

the OcUK value PL kits were made by Addon who we no longer list. they were a reliable brand but i wanted a brand that allowed us to offer a good price point as well as a solid range.

I believe Tenda is the way to go and I'm so confident that I list them on our site under their own brand name rather than 'OcUK Value'

Any idea what you will be stocking when they arrive and prices?

everything we will be stocking, is currently listed.

click the tenda logo in the op

they will be arriving tomorrow hopefully, like it says in the OP

i'm looking at getting the Tenda N60 Wireless Broadband Router to replace my virgin media superhub.

Is it reliable and get the full speeds described?

I had a tenda wireless dongle and it was terrible with constant disconnects. Hope they have upped their game.

I was surprised to see these brands arriving at OcUK. When I worked at a local PC shop some years ago we did trial offering cheaper brands for people who don't want to spend as much, such as Tenda, Addon, Edimax, TP-Link and had so many back, not very good at all. I hope they have improved since then.

I'm the opposite. In the past I've used a Tenda router which did the job at the price I could afford. I still have 2 USB wireless dongles that have worked continuously for a couple of years now. The only downside to them, for me, is the slightly 'Engrish' documentation/config pages/support site.

they have. the products i have been sent to evaluate have been very good and in my opinion better quality than much higher end hardware.

they have certainly got better recently and whilst not perfect, [they are a budget brand afterall] they fill a part of our market that we have not been catering for for a few months whilst OCUK Value [Addon] has been phased out.

this is one i have had first hand experience with. it is a nice product and the interface is very user friendly. refreshing for a chinese networking brand as most budget networking brands rely on generic or sub standard interfaces.

when we trialed the product the speeds were more than acceptable and very close to rated using compatible hardware at the range of our office [which is about as big as the floor plan of a smaller house.

One of the things i have done recently is test out all of the budget brands i can get my hands on.
previously OcUK value was Addon as i mentioned, their products were fairly solid and the return rates were no different to bigger brands like asus, netgear, cisco etc.

where i will hold my hands up, Tenda are a budget brand. dont expect Asus black diamond packaging, documentation and aesthetics here. but they do the job more than adequately.

as i say, they would have been branded OCUK value otherwise. i was that impressed with the range that i evaluated that i listed them as their own brand.

The range is introductory and when we see sales which i am confident will happen soon, then i will start to add more products to our portfolio

I've been using three Tenda W322U v2 wireless USB adaptors for a long time, and they work flawlessly, so I'd have no hesitation in purchasing more of their product.

How do you know? Have you used any of their products? Done any research or as usual are you just spouting uninformed rubbish to up your post count?

Cos I brought it once at my local daw computers shop and got only 11 meg on adsl2+ then exchange it to a better netgear high performance router and got 15 meg on it.
