Annoying Adverts Showing in your Part of the Country

Holidays are comin', holidays are comin' :p

My Facebook feed nearly exploded the first time the Coca Cola Christmas AD first showed this year :p

When did that happen? Last year it was the 8th of November...

It used to mean Christmas had officially started, but now its just another silly early advert.

I've used a PVR for years. Ads are a thing to be fast-forwarded. The only annoying things about them are: a) the frequency, and b) the new annoying trick of showing the channel logo between adverts, rather than just at the end. Makes it harder to tell when they've finished. I haven't watched an actual ad for at least six years.

Not sure if it was regional or national, but... Safestyle Windows anyone? The long haired guy shouting "YOU BUY ONE, YOU GET ONE FREE! I SAID, BUY ONE GET ONE FREE", all the while knocking window frames down.

Fun fact: My mum used to babysit him.

There is a Dominos pizza poster on a phone box up the road. The nearest Dominos is over 50 miles away :/

Indeed. I hate watching live TV on the ad channels for this reason.

I'm pretty sure some adverts in Hull have people dressed in cheap market clothes compared to the slightly more tasteful high street clothes that Midlands people wear in adverts.

Not regional, but the new Go Compare adverts are WAY more annoying than the original ones.

Saving the nation my arse!

Furniture/carpet adverts are by and large pretty annoying but I have to admit I have grown to quite like the current SCS ones purely because of the unbridled enthusiam of the girl they have doing them at the moment. I mean, its just carpets, and yet she throws herself into it like its a production of Romeo and Julliet. Being very easy on the eye also helps. Don't know if SCS are regional though.

The Hughes Insurance adverts are criminally unfunny. I'm assuming the two guys in them must be local "comedians" (I've only been over here a couple of years), but I'd be hard pressed to find any evidence of their talents in this case.
