Are you talking about Simfree stock?

I had mine from instore last Saturday, mine was a contact upgrade however.

I cant believe its taking them so long.

No idea what it will be, mine is a contract upgrade - ordered it on EE launch day so was in the first 500 orders according to my code, so this must be the first tranche of deliveries..
Madness.

This may be an odd question, but has anybody moved to a 920 from a 3GS? what is the signal reception like by comparison?

I have an issue on Orange where I can only get a signal in the upstairs of my house (and even then it isn't 100%), and so I have been planning to move to Voda but the wait for 920 on Voda is killing me lol, was thinking about just getting it as an Orange upgrade via P4U but if I did that I would ideally be wanting superior reception over the 3GS to make up for staying with Orange.

Any info would be appreciated.

That's not good, oh well I am happy enough with the white handset.

Expansys have sold out of White handsets, that's over 100 in less than 24 hours.

Not only that but at the price they are asking for them as well!

Only issue i have now is that my Virgin Mobile sim card (which i switched today), is displaying as "Local Network Operator" instead of Virgin on my live tile.

Doesn't seem to be a fix and from a quick google search it was a very rare problem with the old Lumia.

Few days in I am loving this phone. The heavy feeling has gone away and is replaced with a kind of "solid" feeling now although I still think the phone is a bit slippy. Keep finding new things, today I am so happy with my onenote syncing on skydrive - make to do list on pc, it's there on phone, update it on phone, it's updating on pc. Wanted this for years!!!

Only problem I have is the EE signal at home is a bit weak and drops out in the living room occasionally. Any recommendations on home signal boosters?

I suspect they'd have been about the same if there was no exclusivity deal. Nokia handsets have always been pricey. It's probably why the 820 price seems so expensive - on contract it's reasonable because the networks are subsidising it, but SIM-free it's full-on Nokia-tax. The 920 is being subsidised by EE 'sim-free' in the UK, meaning the price gap between the two is much smaller than it should be.

in general EE signal is bad. When I had T-Mobile and T-Mobile/Orange, full 5 bars and 3G but since it switched to EE, I get H and 2/3 bars! Everyone has had signal problems with EE (at least 98% of the people). Even the EE store reps tell me

has anybody heard from t mobile.(via phone call) on when they are getti9ng them in stock..i rung them up last nite and the bloke told me they aint getting them up until mid next week :/..
this was 2 days after i rung up and the women told me they getting them in tomorrow (16th november). and 2 days befroe that the women said in 2 weeks time.
what i dont understand is how could t mobile give me 3 different dates.i have explained this to the people over the phone, but they just feeding me pure excuses

More luck probly going to p4u and getting one of their stock with a tmobile deal, they will ring T-Mobile for you when you are instore.

I thought H was better than 3G?

...'H' is either HSDPA or DC-HSPA+ (probably the former on EE). I'd take 2 or 3 bars at those speeds over 5 at '3G' (generally refers to earlier, slower 3G technologies). Your discovery would suggest they have upgraded your local mast, not downgraded it.

Who is having problem with battery? Mine has been excellent, I wonder if there are some bad devices out there?

Yesterday I used 2 hours of GPS nokia drive, whilst playing music via bluetooth to my head unit and it only used 20% of my battery.

Everyday I am left with more battery than I did on my iPhone 4.

I also have wifi, bluetooth and GPD enabled all the time :/

Something must be draining battery.

My only complaint with the phone is the lack of push notifications, but I assume that will come soon.

I wasn't even given a date .. just wait for a text telling you it's been sent out. If I wasn't hungover as hell, I'd be marching down to the EE shop and picking one up.
