I always assumed that there had to be a significant amount of complaints for this sort of thing before any action was taken. Clearly not!

I'm not sure, but i remember during the TG advert episode them banging on about all sorts of stupid rule regarding car adverts and speed.

Yes because when I see a car going fast in an advert I immediately decided I must do the same. I cannot think for myself...

It should have been banned simply because it was on every 5 seconds and was just generally a crap advert.

Over and over again, on every channel, every break.

Even Munchies loose their appeal if you are forced to sit and eat a thousand of them in a row.

Almost as bad as the current honda advert.

Which is a shame because there have been some great Car adverts over the years.

...anyone wish to join forces to remove Go Compare adverts? The one with Stuart Pearce makes me want to smash footballs into male genitalia until it hurts them. I feel this is very bad for society and could cause some serious health implications.

The complaints were upheld not because of their strength in numbers, but because they were accurately demonstrating that the adverts broke the ASA rules.

The fact that some people can't understand that is so pathetic

Not only motor related. More and more the government is trying to dictate what we can and cannot do with our lives. Becoming a joke to be honest

Oh I think some of us understand the rules, it's just the rules suck balls. Watching that advert does not want to make me get in my car and drive fast, automatically killing children and making the baby jesus cry.

I think everyone understands that rules were broken, we all just think the rules are a joke. Watching the advert did not make me want to go out and drive recklessly or dangerously.

I think your last sentence is pathetic...
