Tell me, once reaching 30 that ranked games are full of less morons?
Not having a very good time of it at the moment :( lots of losses, and not even contested games, just steam rolled.

haha, nope, games with randoms will ALWAYS* have morons.

*99% of the time any way.

this

Jungler gets blamed so much for champs making bad decisions / dieing off their own accord

so many times have i seen people shotuing, why isnt jungler ganking bottom even thought they have the place warded to **** so jungler cant get close, or you have people who push really far up the lane then get ganked by enemys jungler and then blame thier own jungler for not helping?...

its a really fun role, i play with shen / fiddle and ive been practicising riven but just be prepared for some flaming :)

best way to play is to not depend on jungler, play your lane as if he didnt exist then when he comes to your lane for gank. go for it. so many people go for it and just expect you to be there....

yeah i know your pain man

Played a couple of ranked games (as support) recently where the ad seems to think the task is to get the minions to the opponents tower as quickly as possible.

I think my 3 lost ranked games as support Tals has summed up perfectly with that gem above lol.

i played support last season and all i can say is whilst i'm a better player for it. supporting low ELO players is bad if you want out of low ELO you have to take control of the game Mid or ADC is ideal for this.

won 3 of my 4 placement matches so far this season would like to keep that ratio tbh i'm certainly better than my elo suggested from last season but you still meet many morons.

Lux support is the most fun I have had for a while, but a lot does seem to depend on the performance of the carry.

Do you all tend to play solo or duo for ranked? I would have thought a good duo can help with a win and stave off a low elo ranking. Jungle + top/mid or support/adc seem to make sense as partners

we played a game yesterday, and bottom fed fiora, she stacked 3 tiamats, then in a team fight 1 ulti off her earned her a quadra kill when we were all 60-80% health

surrender GG

was such a troll build any team fight shed ulti and that was us dead...

its liek my mate when he plays volibear. he just stacks warmongs. hes is litrally invincible ive sene people with bloodrazors try to take him out and still struggle to put a scratch on him when he has 5-7k health. and not to mention volis passive beasts in.

I bought zed yday. wierd char, trying to find a nice build for him that works.

Sounds like once i start getting involved in ocuk games, I won't need to jungle too much :)

I main jungler too with the OCUK crowd. ;)

All of us can play all positions though, we might be better or prefer certain ones but most of us just play to have fun and don't take the game too seriously. If you want to jungle, never be afraid to say, we always end up arguing because no one wants to pick what role they play during games anyway.

Personally I think there's going to be less viable junglers after the patch, they say there'll be more but a lot of champions (especially derpy ones) will probably take too much damage. We'll see how the tradeoff goes once one mob's doing most of the damage. Someone like Fiora might struggle because she'll take LOADS of damage (she already does) but it depends how fast she takes down the biggest mob.

As others have said though, ganking will stay the same and there's no harm starting now.

Anybody else find that when your team has a teemo top he fails vs an ad based champ but when ever the enemy team has teemo he dominates your AD top lane and zips round the map assassinating everything in site.

I find people that dont ban blitz so annoying - I know i shouldnt say one char is the reason we lost but seriously Blitz alters the game in a massive way because youv always got your tail between your legs and watching out for his rediculously massive grab from like half the map :D

i cant share your pain , my mate plays teemo top and i've only seen him fail on very rare occasions. usually when hes getting dominated by jungler ganks top that has some cc / heavy early game damage like lee sin .

tis funny when he has whole map covered in shrroms and we are watching peeps run away with 10% health praying they hit one :D

I play Teemo a fair bit and once you've got your head around the playstyle (build FM and kite like a beast) then he's pretty easy. The amount of Teemos that I've seen that don't build a FM (which IMO is the most important item on AD Teemo, Ryalai's for AP) worries me.

Epic game we just finished tonight, we were going to surrender at 20, cos Varus was already 7/0/2, but decided to stick it out for another 5 minutes. Tals will hopefully fill in the rest of the story...

That game is why I am still addicted to lol after 3 years, not sure I'll be able to sleep now :) on the bad news it looks like the replay is corrupt, I'll check it again over the weekend but it's not looking good. In summary though after 10 mins it was pretty much game over. We had some like 14 death to 3 kills. They started getting cocky and threw some positions but by 35 mins all our inhib towers were down but we got baron. We then got 2 of their team down and pushed through one inhib tower, then another and went for the win. Crown towers down we all died with the exception of anivia, 2 hits left to win she was egged, 1 hit left she is 1 hit from win and death and she just managed to get the shot in. Screamed myself hoarse at the screen - unbelievable :)

Their team mid Trist- very good early, top singed, bot varus and leona. Jungle singed
Our team mid anivia, top Jayce, bot graves, taric, jungle nautilus

Cross fingers I can get the video up as it was epic.

played wukong and teemo vs my mordekaiser top last night. 2 on 1 couldnt handle me XD

i love mord. also some good ganks from sion our jungler put me in good stead.

Yeah, boots + 3 is too popular.

Had some good games last night myself, with the usual ADC woes. I had an Ashe who insisted on sitting in the brush to try and kill the opposing team and needless to say, we ended up losing the bottom lane.

What happened to trying to last hit? Are people less inclined to want to last hit in normal games for some reason?

Might take the plunge and hit up a ranked game tonight. Should be fun :p

Is that Blind Pick or draft? Sadly Ranked can be the same, people seem to not understand some real basic concepts like not pushing a lane without being aware of what that means.

We were against a Cait/Blitz combo yesterday, the Blitz would constantly leave without the ad, as soon as that happened as Taric I would put myself between his minions and him. Instant deny and all because they weren't thinking.
