I was told by one unlock site (Unlock frog) that EE supplies their unlock codes and they're not accepting any applications for a couple of weeks.

So anyone supplying an unlock code is most likely getting it from the same source.

The other methods for unlocks are often more hacky, reading and writing areas of the device's programmable ROMs to unlock it. Such methods take time to develop.
 
How do you take a screenshot?

and I was using Battery Level for WP8 which I liked... but might have been the app that was causing the switching off, still testing but it's been fine since I uninstalled that.

Press the home (windows button) and power button at the same time.

For me it just doesn't sync with gmail and when it does its always late.
I rely on gmail for work as im self employed so i really need my emails as soon as they arrive.
My 4S gets them the same time as they land in my inbox but the 920 is usually 10-30 minutes late. Deleting an email from the 920 takes about the same before it actually registers on googles servers.

Have you tried a factory reset? Reason I ask is my gmail syncs fine, not had any problems with it at all.

Quick, question how much free space did people have when they turn they phone on first boot I got 26.82gb, is that right?

Have you synced it to download emails as they arrive?

I have no problems on my 800, arrive at the same time as my inbox.

I have no third party battery apps installed and mine has the crash / shut off problem.

29.12GB - Total Space
1.94GB - System
2.15GB - Other
42.25MB - Pictures
5.63GB - Music + Videos
1.18GB - Apps

At the moment. :D
