I bought this game (still downloading) but didn't think to check it would work with my GPU. Anyone using a similar card? From a quick search online I think it might be pushing it a bit?

I should imagine you'd be quite fine :D i play BF3 with no issues running on an ASUS EAH6850 - plays flawlessly at 1080p even at stock - currently in the process of seeing how much i can clock by though. :)

On 'Medium' settings you should be OK, you might even be able to tweak a couple of settings up to 'High' ( probably not worth it ).

Forget 'Ultra' though, a 1 gig card will not run it.

I used to play it on my overclocked 5850 which was maybe a bit quicker that your card. It'll be ok you'll just have to turn settings down. What CPU do you have? Bf3 is very CPU dependant in multi-player

i7 920 @ 3.7Ghz, sounds like I might be ok on medium settings all going well...

spite the comments above i play on all high settings at a reasonable 43fps on an i5 3750k.. tbh its all down to preference and how it feels for you.. This card generally packs a little more punch than anticipated.. judging from my own experience with it anyways.. ive gained another 4 fps today too so now sitting on an average 47 which happily suits me, i5 n ram all @ stock too..! just try different settings etc see what works for you.. Every system seems to work out slightly different.

Thanks, I played for literally 3 minutes when my kids were looking over my shoulder as I was about to get stabbed so had to leave it for another time. I know there is a single player campaign but from what I've read online (albeit only 1 comment) its not that great.

Anyway, from what I saw in those 3 minutes it looked fluid enough and pretty nice!
