Ordered a Chinese case, got the black version so it hides their silly brand marking.

Not worried about scratches but with my Lumia 800, I got something similar and twice i dropped my phone as I exit my car and hitting on concrete / hard road surface, corner and edge took the brute whilst the phone was 100% safe. This case will do the same, especially with, cracked screens. Something to take the brunt.

I am still waiting, should be here sometime this week. Also got a brown http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=281022078327&index=8&nav=SEARCH&nid=53836509448 for when I only have space for 1 item on me, instead of carrying a wallet too.

Thank you

Do you know if the wireless charging still works in a case?

Also looking for a car mount. Loads on eBay it's just which will be any good

Honestly, no idea. I will confirm when my case and free wireless charing pad arrives.

As for in car, it really depends on how you like to mount yours.
I got one with a sucker than I can mount like this

It's the same holder I used from my Lumia 800 days...

On the plate yes, fatboy - not so sure.

I wouldn't charge mine in a case, if there's any heat produced then it will cause the phone to warm up.

I had the chance to test my 920 at a gig last night. The wideness of the lens is a bit of a problem if you want to film from a distance. Quality of video and sound is good, although no camera tends to cope with really bright lighting flawlessly.

Well mine just switched off again. Incidentally the soft reboot is just power switch and down, you don't need to hold the camera button.

Think I'm going to do a factory reset through the menu and see how we go. Apparently I've got 28 days with P4U to do a like for like replacement. I checked in store and I do have to go through the online sales team.

Well reset done. It didn't take long and I took it as an opportunity to test the restore process. Most of it went OK, but it doesn't seem to remember how I had my tiles organised and the backup looks a day or two old.

Not all my apps have synced either, it seems to have had a problem with some of them with error messages appearing in the inbuilt sync application - not ideal! However everything else worked a treat, had to type in all my passwords again for email and Wi-Fi, but other than that all good.

Will see how things go over the next few days, but 1 more switch off and I'm asking for a replacement!

Took phone off charge at 10.30, now got 34% left. Had very little use, are people getting longer than this?

Check in Settings > Applications > Background Tasks to see what is running. I had a load of stuff on which didn't need to be running in the background, switched it off and ever since I've been getting insane levels of battery life. (18 hours with 10% left Friday, 16 hours with 29% left yesterday)

I took mine off at 9 and still have 41% left. Had moderate use, been browsing OcUK, eBay etc, with music playing for an hour during my drive today. Wireless and Bluetooth always on.

Been 5 days now and the battery life is around the same as my previous Lumia 800, for a bigger phone, more power and screen, the battery life is as I hoped it'd be. Est 2.45hrs available.

Here's my screenshot:

Loving it!

Only Nokia drive was allowed to run in the background. I played some Cut the Rope, caused my 34% to drop to 0 in about 1 and a half hours. This has been with Bluetooth and wifi off.

I had a big issue one day last week where I lost over 50% in three hours. It was the first time I'd used Nokia drive, and once I switched that off background running, it was fine. Might be a bug with Nokia drive causing major drain, but it's not really necessary to have running.

How long have you had the phone? Took me about 3 days and 3 full cycle charges to get the best out of the battery.

Since last Saturday :/ I dunno if it's worth getting a replacement from Phone 4u. Suppose I might be able to get a refund and buy one for EE saving myself £50!

Mines gone over 24 hours since the day I bought it, just blocked all the pointless apps from running in the background. Only allow the weather app, and the Battery WP8 app. Oh, and the location (gps) is disabled.

Looking forward to getting the wireless charging plate, that's gunna be awesome.

Flashed me phone with some generic GB firmware. Quite a different default state from the EE firmware. I wouldn't say it was better or worse though. But I just don't like operator firmware.
