Take the 20%.

Given your 'design' was simply the idea of arranging the circles so that the slowest was outside like an orbiting planet, that you mocked up using one of his existing watch designs (which already used rotating discs and circles just in a slightly different fashion) I would say that 20% off is a generous offer from him.

Slightly off topic but I absolutely love their "Last Laugh" watch - I think I might treat myself to one of those for my birthday.

Assuming you copied the cyclops and changed the face then I'd say you can be fairly happy with the 20% discount.

Initially I would have said it was downright disgraceful they copied your design but having looked at their range I see a few of their watches share the case design you posted. Who came up with the case design including lug shape first, you or them?
