Web App worked after a while, I spent the rest of my Fifa Points and bagged a Neymar, Alonso, Ogbonna and a 4-2-2-2 formation card. Very happy with that!

Good lad, I got quite a lot of free coins, when Neymar sells I should have 400k + in the bank. So near enough 500k if I sell my NIF Bale and Navas, will be just short though to get IF Mata and IF Bale.
 
It's not just about individual players though...

I swapped my 82 keeper for an 87 keeper and the rest of my team played like crap even though I didn't change it.

I have no idea exactly why it happened but having more good players makes your team play worse!
 
It always had in FUT. Make a team of IF's that have a 86+ rating and it will feel woeful, sluggish players, under hit passes, awful control, dodgy marking. It happens consistently to just be a coincidence.

Abate is too attack minded for a 4 at the back formation, I would go with a RB who has med or low attack minded and a high defense. Caceres is your best option iirc.

Sneijder is not physical enough for a CM and is wasted there also imo, he should be playing where Cassano is. Also i found Barzagli to be awful, Gamberini is a lot better, but your mileage may vary on that one because my mate swears by Barzagli but I got rid of him in my team.

Other than those 3 the team looks fine but I would stick Di Natale in the CF/CAM position with Cavani and Pato up front. Di Natale has a beast of a long range finesse shot. You could maybe even try out Balotelli if you wanna stick with Cassano in CF/CAM with Di natale up front. I found Cavani to be rubbish due to his High Defense work rate playing as a lone striker, but he may be more useful with a partner.
 
Does seem slow and clumsy but he is not weak. Just shows how the stats on the card do not really show how he can perform in game.

The fact is the first team is MILES better than the secondary one yet feels awful, sluggish players, rubbish passing, defenders not marking, winning headers etc.

i would like to disagree there about one team being miles better, for example kaboul and m'bia are easily in the top 10 defenders in the game for example, I have no idea why you have agger in there though there are better options imo. Also Kompany is only useful as a Middle CB, etc. I assume your playing Silva or Luiz in the middle for chemistry reasons, etc.

also Kaka is pretty much pants now in this game in midfield he makes a good CF behind 2 strikers though.

He is all one footed, which makes him slower, keep the ball on his left and he moves faster but since he is playing on the right you want the ball to be on the right so it is away from the defender, therefore he moves slower than he should. Di Maria and Sturridge also have this problem, a lot slower because of their one footed'ness. But if you get into the box with him, slow down and finesse with his left into the top corner, guaranteed goals. The only other option is IF Lucas who is ridiculous money.
