Hey all,

It is finally time to replace my trusty 5850 as it feels like it is struggling a little these days.

Don't have a huge budget and have been looking at the 7850's, would this be a decent upgrade for a while?

Cheers!

No the 7950s were.

I had one of these and i must say its not as good as the gigabtye for cooling.

Its idle fan speed was 10% slower but even after gaming it took a lot longer to cooldown compare to the WF.

At the moment, I have two old 5850s in crossfire overclocked to 885/1155, in addition, to help with tessellation, the on-board graphics on a 2500K, via Lucid Virtu. Would you Guys also recommend the 7850 as upgrade for me too?
