Amazon Black Friday (week) sale!!!

Tempted to see what the chromebook is up for, kids laptop has died. Might also have that SSD and there is another PS3 on later. Will see what that saving is...

Just looking, of course...

I've decided to return my Panasonic GX1.. The lens pictured is supposedly (according to comments on the item) a lot more expensive that the one they supplied.

Also, the supposedly "reduced" cost was from a cost that they only started charging from 1st November, when in fact it was about £50 more expensive that the price I paid before that. So, I was a bit annoyed that it made it look like I was getting a bigger saving that I really was.

That, and I would probably not use the features that the camera has anyway.
May try and grab one of the compacts on sale today now.

Also want to grab the mop that's on sale soon too.

That's how sales work ! You see it on every TV sale advert. *laptop 1/2 price* was £600, now £300. Previously sold for higher price for 1 week a month ago so they can legally sell it at half price. Where as the normal price is usually a few quid either side of £300 anyway.

Do some research on what you're buying, saves a lot of hassle later on. ;)

What the opinion on the "Optoma GT750 3D DLP"?

I was thinking about getting a projector for games/films. Is it better holding off and getting a 1080p as I guess at the sizes available (upto 300") you would be able to tell the difference more than a normal tv? Though 3500lum sounds good for a projector.

True, but from what I understand, they have to have sold at the higher price for 28 days previously to state their discount.

Anyway, I basically changed my mind on the camera, and have a reason to return without my having to pay for it, so all good.
