Has any one heard of this game? It looks absolutely amazing. I think it will appeal to a lot of hardcore gamers, I always wondered why you can die in some RPGs and just miraculously come back to life, in this game, if you die, you die, I believe it adds a much more realistic feeling to it and it should totally make you feel on edge!

It's going to have microtransactions, and I bet one of the items available will be a resurrection stone or something like that.
Still looks cool though.

I do think that it would be nice to see some meaningful death penalties though. Not enough to cripple your character, but enough that you really really do not want to die.
 
SOE? Yeah im guessing theyll water down the permadeath somehow, but ill keep an eye on it. Seems a lot of good stuff out at the moment. Anyone else get the feeling that SWTOR was the death of pay to play MMOs?
 
Quite interested, and will definitely keep an eye on this. :)

Reminds me of some of my old D&D / AD&D days, where if our player character died, you usually couldn't bring them back, save for special circumstances. Just had to start a new creation. :)

That's kind of how we played also, though for us, we were only dead-dead if the party wiped, else we just RP'd that any remaining players could just start a new quest to find someone to resurrect the dead chars.

One per account, tried to make another account with my "normal" email address but it wouldn't allow me. Seems it tracks your IP! Sorry mate!
