question is it possible to buy with station cash just a red dot for your gun , had a brief look last night

Not possible to buy optics with cash, the reflex sight (red dot) is only 30certs though, about half an hour of play.

@Sleepless you need to equip sights in your loadout page. Once in the loadout click on the 4 squar boxes in the corner to equip your sight.

anyone going to do this?
I _really_ don't want to as
a) I don't have time to run an outfit
b) I cba
c) I'm not sure if I'm going to stick playing this right now.

The Immortals are very Ocuk heavy, well we were/are in other games I'm not sure how many OcUkers have joined us in PS2, but I'm guessing quite a few can think of about 10 off top of my head!

We NC & we on Woodman

For invite Me, Dist (same as here) or Zinnii (Rhaos on here)

For years we have suffered from the Terran Republic and their determination to control our minds. Now the Vanu are threatening our very existence with their belief that aliens hold superiority over all human life. The New Conglomerate are HUMAN with free will and spirit and we will defend our unique souls to the end. We will fight for the right to be who we want to be and believe that only under our leadership will peace have a chance within this Galaxy.
We are -The Immortals- of The New Conglomerate and we need YOU!

No the add-ons for each gun must be unlocked with cert points. Only the initial weapon unlock itself and cosmetic items are purchased using station cash.

It was great fun last night with a group of 9-10 of us running 2 liberator gunships with reaver escort. We managed to really dent the advancing armour columns and take out spawn sunderers at frontline contested bases letting our own ground troops sweep in and capture them. When destroyed we grabbed a Gal and went to take over some smaller bases, got caught by the TR counter attack and helped defend Zurvan amp station against a red tide!

Fantastic, I'll create a new Soldier on there and message you in the coming days for an Invite :D.

Currently playing this game after a few weeks away from it after I got fed up of a few bugs while trying out the Alpha squad. Thoroughly enjoyed it, graphics have improved a lot and only saw a few stuttery moments/ players lagging.

Managed to get to Rank 7 by healing alone. Lots of people throwing themselves at an enemy defence line while I hid behind a pillar on a base :D!

gah just bought a 3 month membership for the cert gain. Think ive spent about 60 quid on this game so far, sneaky buggers. Still, having just spent 20 quid watching skyfall, i reckon three months entertainment is worth that lol.

Had an awesome fight last night, stuck in a Tech lab being overwhelmed by the NC (they had already capped the base) - I had the only Sunderrer there, me and 3 friends managed to keep it alive for about 20 minutes and I got a ridiculous amount of XP from the spawns I've never seen anything like it.

Also played the Mossy this morning, and very well I must admit. I got about 5 or 6 more kills but unfortunately didn't screenshot it, so this was my score:

This was with the same Mossy, the only time I died was when a Sniper managed to pick me off when I was repairing - upgraded MiniGun + Dumbfire Missiles = ownage. In one burst of Hellfire I managed to get 7 kills it was hilarious!

Too much information in this thread. I am booting up for the first time tonight. Someone please give me the basics about what I should become and where I should go?

I'm loving all the installed, played for 5 minutes, uninstalled comments. I did that with Halflife, it was just a game about a guy going to work on a train, it was crap:rolleyes:

Except that the HL graphics at the time were awesome and I played the game (and DM) for years after.

The graphics are crap and that's not good enough. Make all the excuses you want, but a game has to look as good as it plays to hold my attention.

The graphics look awesome, I'm confused as to how we're playing the same game? I've got everything on Max and it looks fantastic?

Ditto. Whilst I'll admit the textures could be a bit better and it's no BF3 (nor would I expect it to be when the map is 16x the size of a BF3 map with 2000 players), the lighting effects alone make the game stunning.

He's probably loaded up BF heroes by mistake ;-)

Haha yeah.

And you've echoed my thoughts exactly - the lighting more than makes up for the average textures, but also don't forget that the Ultra settings are not released at the moment so I imagine there's some extra high-res stuff to go with that!

p.s. still looking for a good/big/fun active outfit on Woodman (TR) for about 10 people.

When you launch youll find yourself in a pod at a warpgate. Open your map (m) and see the deploy buttons. Those are where the fighting is at (for the most part, can be a bit hit and miss). Youll see lots of stations around where you can change your class (i would recommend light assault to start) or spawn a vehicle. Dont.

If theres a huge plane sitting outside that has X/12 (you want X to be as high a number as possible, i.e. 9/12) you want to run up to that and hit 'E' to get in. Eventually they'll fly you to the action. Otherwise just hit one of the 'deploy' buttons on the map and youll find yourself dropping into the action.

The objective of any map is to capture or defend points. These are always labelled as A,B and/or C. Youll be able to see them through the UI. The little white triangles on your mini map are your guys. The skull and crossbones that appear on your UI are friendlies dying. Thats where the action is. Use your jump pack and get on top of stuff whilst making your way to the action. Shoot anyone who doesnt have a nametage above their head. If you get an annoying buzz, that was a friendly.

When you die, youll be presented with a series of green blobs. Click one and hit deploy. Try changing your class. Follow everyone else. Eventually jumnp in a plane or a tack. have fun.

Oh and join an outfit if you fancy it.

Your single player expectations do not meet the reality of an open world with hundreds of players in three dimensions over a large map *shrug*.
