Hi i am a Virgin Media customer with the 60mb connection. I currently use the Virgin Media superhub in Modem mode and have a TP-Link WR841N Wireless Router.
For some time now i have been having an issue where my internet connection will stop working for about 30-60 seconds every 2 or so hours. It then sorts itself out without me needing to do anything and goes back to working perfectly. The wireless signal strength never drops or lowers, its always at max even when the internet stops working for the 30-60 period of time.
Im really not sure what the problem is, i have no way of testing if its a problem with my wireless connection/router or the actual internet im getting from Virgin Media. The modem and router are downstairs whereas all computer equipment is upstairs and its far too much hassle to move everything downstairs and then use a wired connection until the issue rears its ugly head (it seems to happen pretty randomly).
Has anyone got any suggestions as to what i should do to try and get around the problem ?
