Shortest route I can find on Google maps/streetview is 1 mile?
This route is going to be 0.5-0.6 miles walked, as there are bits to cut that are paths not roads.

Why not some where near london bridge like the achor tap off queen elizabeth steert by tower bridge?
I would like to make one of these but it just seems way too weird. Completely against everything else I do, despite the fact that I meet so many internet "strangers" for social meets from another site but oh well...
I think half of it is to do with photos etc. I have a serious phobia of cameras so if someone is taking pictures of me, I will most likely go friggin' mental. These meets seem to produce lots of photos so it's a no from me

I'd recommend a fantastic Fullers Pub near Farringdon with an outstanding Italian menu, good friends with the owner who is also the chef, but I'll be going there later on on the 15th for a birthday, so don't think I could do all day there .
