i hope the order I placed for the red 920 on clove I get in their first batch of shipment. I placed an order as soon as I got their email on Wednesday this week

This time, you can still order on the website this evening. Which suggests they're either expecting a larger delivery this time, or they're just taking everyone's money regardless of being able to fulfill the orders.
I hope it's the former, as I ordered within 30 minutes of getting the email, but apparently ages after twitter.

Just installed thumba photo editor. What a great piece of software! Like having Lightroom in your pocket.
Must say I'm not missing IOS at all, there is a real quality feeling about the phone and WP8. There maybe less apps, but there are some real corkers in there if you look.
Definately not missing Android and it's dodgy marketplace... "You want good app! Cheap price!"

Guys. Can you remind this Gran how to take a shot of the phone's screen please? As usual, I've forgotten which buttons you have to press. And by the way, I wouldn't sell my Nokia 920 for a thousand pounds! I absolutely love it!
which one? I can see thumba and thumba cam, both for WP7 which put me off a bit as I thought Id wait for them to update to WP8..
google reckons it is the win key (home) and the camera button pressed together
Hold power key and quickly tap the windows key straight after.

massively long time lurker of this thread, from about page 40 or so I think! Finally decided it was time to sign up and get involved!
Ordered a black 920 from Clove about an hour after the email came through, and it slightly concerns me that they are still available to order on the site. Does anyone have confirmation of how many they are getting, or if they are just taking peoples money and hoping that orders dont get canceled when they are not delivered? If they are just taking limitless orders with the intention of backing them up and delivering when they come in stock thats pretty bad business practice, but will make their books look good at the end of the month I guess.
Also slightly annoyed that they took the money as soon as i placed the order, how can they justify that if I am not guaranteed to get one? Surely they are making more work for themselves as if i dont get one I am just going to cancel my order and they will have to process a refund
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the keyboard? Is it easy to type on without making mistakes, and are there any others available to download? I have swiftkey on my GS2 at the moment and its the best app i have by miles!

can anybody tell me how to make the good settings with the 920 in the dark.i have messed about the settings and cant seem to get the piture right after seeing all those youtube videos take a pic with the flash off and still come out good.
i take them and they come out dark.

There are no other keyboard than the stock one, I've been using it since WP7 and can't complain about it, there's autocorrect if you want it enabled and you get a lists of suggested words as you type that allow to you to type and correct mistakes faster.
I don't think you can do that with the phone that made it to retail, all these videos we saw were with prototypes but reviewers have confirmed you can't do it on final hardware. Still with very little light you can take some amazing pictures.
have you been taking pictures with the flash on?
and have you got all the camera settings on auto?
what about the image stabilisation video recording, how do you find that?
