Evening gents.

Has anyone taken advantage of these offers? If yes, how long did it take you to receive confirmation of your warranty/the glasses?

I followed all of the stated procedures over 30 days ago now and have heard nothing, other than a confirmation email about the glasses. Unfortunately I can't chase Panasonic about these until 45 days have passed, but seeing as it states that most orders arrive within 14 days I'm becoming dubious.

Weird it's taking you so long, I got my glasses in about a week. This was recently too, applied for my glasses around the 11th, got them on the 19th.

I didn't bother with the warranty as I purchased from JL which already gives 5yrs but the glasses took about 10 days.

got my glasses within 1 week and the free bluerays came within a week.

I didn't get warranty because I have no shops near me.

Panasonic's warranty takes around 45 days as you say, most cases that is correct, but if your worried give the number on the cut off you should have kept a call.

Glasses can be quick but the bigger the demand, the longer it takes to process.

Some shops offer a free 5 year warranty if you buy the tv in store.

If not you just get the standard 1 year warranty :)

We bought over the phone with *a UK wide high street shop chain that specialises in hifi and the like* - sent us the form and we filled it in and sent it off. :)

The 3d glasses aren't the most comfortable in the world, but with a little bit of trimming the seams and a touch of Sugru they were massively improved.

I got my info back for the warranty in about 3-4 weeks if I remember correctly, if you don't hear by 40-45 days, I was told by the retailer to give them a ring and chase it up...

Thanks guys. I rang the glasses helpline and found that they had gone missing in the post (seems they send nearly £100 worth of AV kit without any form of insurance or tracking!) so they are sending them out again via recorded delivery.

I'm gonna hold off on the warranty, as it's only just been 4 weeks and the website states to wait 45 days.

£100 !! more like £50 ;) they are only the basic non rechargeable ones. you can pick up 2 pairs of Samsung ones for £19 now lol. Panasonic's price is a bit ott.

bought mine from the coop online and got the glasses in 10days if i remember correctly. not used them though!

got my TV on the 17th and completed the form same day. Glasses still haven't arrived. Gonna give it another week.

as for what kind of glasses they are, they are free, I can't complaint really. I am not much into 3d, if I like it that much, I'll pickup some better ones.

Glasses are glasses tbh, just make sure they are comfy and blutooth

do you know which model the glasses are? I always thought it was gonna be the 45pound ones, and was really happy, cause I had read reviews about them, being bluetooth and light.

I dont, panasonic dont list them seperatly so i guess they have been produced for the promotion and for the free ones in the VT/WT models .

The ones you buy are TYER3D4ME/SE depending on size, these have the usb charge port on the inside of the nose piece.

yours should be the ones with a lithium battery.
