True, but after Wednesday that deal ends and they're both the same price.

I'd go with the 7870, for that price it's not too close to the 7950, and not too far from the 7850. So makes it worth the extra grunt you get. Looks pretty smart as well.

Out of curiosity, what is the difference between this and the other 7870's? This one seems to be around £20 cheaper, comes with a 3 year warranty and is very slightly clocked higher out of the box than most of them? Example, the MSI HD 7870 Black Knight OC 2048MB costs 179.99, yet the MSI HD 7870 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB is 199.99.

Is it just a case of a better cooler that bumps the price up?

Pretty much, the Twin Frozr III has a better cooler, metal shroud as opposed to plastic, and most likely better quality components (Military Class III).
