far cry 3 from ubishop

hi guys bought a code from mm today and have followed instruction via Amd gaming evolved

via ubisoft.com purchase fc3 which ive done and i have an order stating order submitted

will they get me to download this and have to use there new uplay client as im wanting to use steam

If you've bought it from Ubisoft, it'll definitely use their own client.

That's not fare as Amd state you can use either steam uplay or origin.

The only option when I redeemed the voucher code was to get fc3 from ubisoft

You've taken it out of context.
Hitman uses Steam, MOH 20% discount is Origin, and FC3 is Ubisoft's thing.

Yep, FC3 is on Steam for pretty much everywhere but the UK so far.

Probably something to do with Game having the limited edition Far Cry 3 it's the same with Asassins Creed 3 not being their and a Game exclusive.

Give it a couple of weeks and it will be there.

Dunno if I'm being thick but I can't get ubishop to apply my code from the basket page?
Also in the email it says "Click on "Click here to redeem link"" but I can't see anything saying that?

Originally I was going to wait until it is released but I've read that other people have been able to redeem their codes already as a preorder (Thus getting a £10 voucher).

edit: nevermind what I thought was just DLC is actually the full game

I got a code to use with geforce site on the 30th for ac3 i take it ill get a steam code but still have to use ubis client which might be ok as ill go for FC3 too.

ACIII I ve seen on steam, going by another ubi game (splinter cell conviction)it also installed uplay. I have not seen farcry 3 as yet on steam, maybe it will come later who knows..
