*** League of Legends ***

Well I'm now at 1407 ELO which I'm pleased about, start of S3 I dropped loads down to around the 1200 mark. I duo queue with a friend who is really good but we were finding we were losing loads I think our first 10 games went either 3/7 or 4/6. I think at one point we were at 5/12 in terms of win loss. We're now at 23/18 and we've really clawed it back. Basically he is playing as the ADC and I'm playing the support. The difference it makes bot lane with a semi decent support is crazy, there has been several games were people wanted to play support and we end up losing. There have been several games were my mate has literally carried the whole game, we were losing our game yesterday, he got a penta, we pushed and won.

Yesterday we won 8 games and lost 1.

TL;DR - duo queuing with a friend, I'm support he is AD, carry hard.

anyone else find top lane the most stressful role
in the game?

Yes.

It is the highest pressure lane in the game, has been for a long time. A small difference in CS or one kill can make or break you top.

I find jungling more stressful though. You have to help lane A catch up whilst helping lane B get even further ahead, all the time getting whined at by lane C for only ganking 50 times in the last 5 minutes.

Actually, I'll agree with you on that jungling side of things. People will moan at you for any reason, fail gank, them losing lane, you getting the kill, you killing a minion by mistake, you not being in their lane 24/7, you taking their exp while waiting to gank etc etc. Some games as a jungler I just feel so useless and it winds me up.

This x 1,000. It's completely toxic because people never realise why they've lost their lane or why the enemy jungler has ganked then 5 times as they're too busy calling you a noob because you're not spending as much time in their lane.

Absolutely love top lane, my favourite lane in the game and the role I am best at however still have a lot to learn. Currently sitting at 1215 elo, hopefully I don't drop to bad.

Free Champion Rotation -

Amumu (1350)
Blitzcrank (3150)
Evelynn (1350)
Warwick (1350)
Udyr (3150)
Miss Fortune (4800)
Vayne (6300)
Leona (6300)
Riven (6300)
Xerath (6300)

Quite nice other than amumu/blitz -.-, so annoying play against. Always wanted to try MF/Xerath though.

The joy of solo queue. Played two games just now. One guy refuses to ward his lane (1500ish elo) and goes from 2-0 to 2-6? Next game guy gives first blood 1minute in as he's not watching then leaves. Currently sitting at a 90%+ win rate on vayne though with over 20 games played

Aye, I've just had a game where mid was our Diana vs enemy Talon. Diana proceeds to ignore the fact Talon roams 24/7. Me (MF) and my support were so far ahead of vayne but we get crushed by the 4 man ganks constantly, our jungler's nowhere to be seen and top and mid lose hard somehow anyway despite I assume our jungler being there a lot (since he wasn't bot once) and mid enemy being out of lane constantly. :(

Yea we had it the other day with a guy who was adamant he wanted top, he fed like a boss as he refused to ward... Even though we told him. He was a bit of a downer though didn't respond to pings or anything.

pulling myself up a bit from a bad run in my placement matches. sitting at 1150 elo seem to be winning when my team is statisically worse so i should be up in the 1200's in no time then we will see how i fare against people I consider more my skill level. Got stuck last season just couldn't carry myself out from 1000 elo. That said I consider myself to have improved 10 fold from my placement matches in season 2 so it's no suprise i'm finding it a bit easier.

Do you single queue or duo queue?

I can't be bothered to solo q. I main support now which means no matter how well i play if my ad is a downer or top feeds we lose. Needing 3 wards down at all times because their jungler is 4-0 at 6 mins, yours is outright retarded and your ad pushes lane constantly just isn't fun.

well my 3/2 didnt go to plan - it was more like 1/4 lol. Such idiots online last night - Even if I own top or support there's just always a tard that ruins it even if I can tank/destroy half there team single handily.. grrrrrrr

The best one was an Ez (99% of players who pick this char are retarded - hes the new teemo) vs Kog and on 3 occassions he was low health and i told him to base and he just stayed there - guess what happened, oh Kog just flems everywhere and GG, and then there was the time where he just stayed at a tower with 25% health and 3 of the enemy pushing it.
