I've been using sennheiser pc350's for a number of years now..
I may need to replace them soon but I'm wondering about alternatives, particularly if theres anything which matches them in terms of comfort over extended periods of wear as these have always treated my satalite dis.. i mean ears (lol) well where as some makes you can only wear for 30 mins
I do plenty of stuff on the computer but I don't think I'm much of an audiophile.. I've loved this headset mainly because of the comfort factor, obviously it blocks a fair bit of noise out but not too much as opposed to being able to hear the doorbell etc
So I guess I'm after a cheaper/short term solution to tide me over for a few months, as in the longterm I'd probably end up picking an identical set up especially if I see them on discount, I'm just trying to be careful with the finances till the xmas spending (and inevitable bills!) is done with
One with a mic built in would be desirable.. but I'd consider one without, as I can always tack a cheap mic to my desk for voip/skype etc if need be
p.s. I'm aware I could probably replace my existing headset through fleabay at a cheaper price I am however reluctant to do so because theres a lot of counterfit floating about on there particularly near xmas, would be nice to stick with overclockers for the peace of mind/not having to second guess where it came from
