Worth getting just for the multiplayer mod. It's still in development but they have open weekends once in a while.
Personally I didn't enjoy the singleplayer at all, it's one of those games that tries to do everything but is average in everything as a result. The world is beautiful though.

only thing i got was port royale 3 for £6 at GmG steam sales been disapointing... Apart from the usual cheap games there hasnt been any good offers which are not better somewhere else. Prime example is skyrim, on the daily it was £17 at gamefly its £9.99.
Now I am thinking about Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition, I own Super Street Fighter 4 although I can get a match doesn't seem to be much people online, does anyone know how Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition fairs in terms of getting matches??
