What would be the point in that?

If you have a problem with an unidentified part of a system, post a thread in General Hardware. If you have a problem with a known part of the system, post in the relevant section!

If you have a problem with life, post in here.

This forum has provided myself and many others a great deal of help, just in the time i've been here i've seen hundreds of threads with dozens of replies helping people with their specific problem, in their specific thread.


A 'help' thread, for pc related issues, would be unmanagable, if you have 30 people viewing, 10 posting, and 3 asking, you're going to have 3 pages of text to crawl through to find your specific response.



Do not tarnish a forum i deeply enjoy viewing, and has been massively helpful in its current form, just because you have an idea that you think should be implemented. For the record, i think the idea is terrible.

im not from middlesbrough i work in middlesbrough, been living here for about year now but your right the education here is somewhat terrible

The "this is not acceptable" part of your post. Well.... Thats pretty much what got you the bad responses.

i guess so well then apologies for that part then, i just thought having a general help section that anyone can post IT related issues would have been good but obviously majority don't agree, fair enough but don't need a 500 word essay onto why this forum is awesome as i never said it wasn't :P

Can you imagine trying to sift through pages of text to find assistance? The forums would be a mess! Its sub categorized for a reason so people don't waste their time finding information and help.

tarnish?! oh my word you have nerve, if i wanted to tarnish a forum i would certainly of put more thought into a post than what i did here hahaha you need to calm down, and to add "i think the idea is terrible" is childish

Think before you type, i know i will from this experience haha :D
