Does anyone know if it is possible to get a double pole double throw light switch? i.e something that looks like the standard white box on the wall.

All I have managed to find are DPST switches.

I actually only need a SPDT and a SPST that are controlled by the same physical actuator.

The SPDT would be connected in the typical 1 light two switches method. The SPST would be used to switch a completely isolated low voltage circuit.

The application I have in mind requires both circuits to be switched at the same time. Having independent switches won't cut it.
So you're not using this for power, then, I take it. Otherwise you only need one line in and you can chuck that out to a couple loads if necessary.

See post #5. The two circuits can't be connected together as one would be 230V AC for lights and the other 3v3/5v to a microcontroller. A DPDT switch will work fine, I was just wondering if anyone knew of one that looked like a traditional light switch

I think you are snookered then :p Use a normal nice switch which fits with your decor, and a relay. :)

It would appear so. As bitslice mentioned I can put a mains relay in the circuit to trigger the low voltage circuit. It will make things a little more complicated and ultimately expensive but it might be my only option.
