Britain is going to vastly change ASAP?

Ignoring the tuna...

You are partially right in what you say - the lifestyle of much of the first world over the past 50 years has been supported by developing countries such as China. Now they are themselves becoming as 'developed' as us there will undoubtedly be change. For the worse from our point of view.

Is tinned salmon cheaper than tinned tuna now? It's like a total reversal of everything I believed in maaaan.

You are totally correct in what you say, our quality of life is dependent on manipulating the poorer countries. now that they are starting to realise that they can progress they have a lot less to fear and we have nothing to fall back on.

I'm going to buy up all the tinned tuna and then wait for the supply to drop off. This time next year I'll be a millionairre :D

I'm one quarter Chinese so I suppose you are all gonna be my servants, then? One of you, get me a tuna melt, ASAP!

lol pakistan .....

they are still backwords country and hardly developing at all

Backwards;)

And yes if we should ever follow Pakistan then **** me im out of here.

Im Pakistani and as much as i love my country of origin, theres no way id want the UK to follow them. A thoroughly corrupt society prevails in Pakistan and i have seen it first hand as ive spent a number of yrs travelling back and forth to Pakistan in the past.

One day...maybe.

I'm sorry but if you think the days of cheap labour are coming to an end then you haven't looked at a globe recently.

It's a horrible thing to say but there are literally dozens of other poor countries that are and would happily make western products for a pittance.

China and India (particularly China) have populaces that now expect a better standard of living and wage increases. China, for example, has gone from demanding an average of 35 cents a day to $1.45 ish in the last couple of decades so these points are valid it’s just that you have terminal tunnel vision.

imho the real issue is the price of fuel - we are at a point where factories are now considering making stuff at home because the fuel charges on shipping have gone through the roof.

Take your doom mongering elsewhere

We have taken things for granted. We expect the best of everything. Yet we consistently fail to remind ourselves that our goodies are coming from the labour of so called '3rd world developing nations'. We've had it easy. Oh and would you like a Tuna fish sandwich btw(Oh wait we don't have Tuna in our Administrative waters).

The days of the British Empire should finally be confined to the graveyards and Britain should wake up to the reality that our only future is to become servants to the rising nations such as China, India, Pakistan etc. I could go on about how these countries have implemented some kind of ideals of capitalism, but I won't.

Sounds like sedition to me. Get him boys.
