General rule of thumb, 750W for x2 7950 / 670, 850W for 7970 / 680. Although 750W probably OK for those, I wouldn't do it myself. If you have money to spend on x2 7970 / 680, you have money to spend on a 850W PSU.

But TBH, SLI / Crossfire is a lot of bother and money and imo OTT for just single display gaming.

Right, that makes sense.

I'm not particularly into the while triple screen thing. If it were or a cockpit setup for sim racing, sure. But standard desktop use, I'd want no more than two. Mainly for multitasking.
